With the 30th anniversary of the Hubble Space Telescope upon us, scientists accept the fact that the Hubble will not last forever. It’s successor, the James Webb Space Telescope, will peer far deeper into the Universe than Hubble ever could. Such an advanced telescope has created tremendous engineering challenges, but it is expected to revolutionize astronomy with its discoveries.
