SUMMARY:Landsat: A 50 year Mission to Planet Earth
DESCRIPTION:InfoAge Science and History Museums \nPresents \n Landsat: A 50 year Mission to Planet Earth\nby Frank O’Brien \nat the InfoAge Space Exploration Center \n2300 Marconi Road \nWall\, NJ 07719 \nSunday August 27\, 2023 @2:00PM \n  \nProper management of land resources is vital for an ever-growing world\, and Landsat spacecraft have provided 50 years of continuous\, global coverage of the surface. Comprehensive images of agriculture\, forestry\, geology\, land use\, and disaster areas have transformed our ability to keep a watchful eye on our planet Earth. \nThere is a great Landsat picture of Hawaii I’m using as the opening picture\, and will be good for advertising. Actually\, there are even better ones\, but they are so amazing\, your not sure if you are looking at a river system or modern art!
