The cottage roof is covered with imperial red clay tiles manufactures by the Ludowici-Celadon Co. of Chicago. Except for a few broken tiles, the roof is in good condition (Photo Nos. 155 - 158). The flashing around chimneys appear to be in good condition. All ridge tiles are in place. Past examinations of the attic interiors shows no evidence of leaks.
