8.10 Radar Laboratory H-Building (Building 9011)

Architectural Feature: Windows
 Date: 1942 to Present

All four sections of 9011 have the original 1942 steel window frames (Photo No. 48).  All have nearly 60 years of paint and many have broken glass, rust, missing gaskets and broken hinges.  Recently the windows have been covered with plywood secured with nail-guns.

Proposed work

In Phase I, remove plywood, repair masonry, broken glass and hinges of worst frames.  Later in Phase III repaint and repair all window frames in 9011.
