Develop inspection and maintenance schedule of all buildings and systems. This Preservation and Architectural Plan proposes to perform the basic work to preserve the historic fabric of Camp Evans while enabling a historically compatible reuse that will provide a reliable revenue stream for continued maintenance. The Plan relies upon using what is in place and making the site enjoyable and safe. It does not include the complete renovation of buildings and installation of new heat and or air-conditioning systems. Once revenue levels allow additions or replacement of aging infrastructure or systems those items can be addressed. Establish and continue growing a fund for future major system repairs and new systems. As example, 1914 Marconi Hotel roof is in good condition now. The roof may need major repairs in the next fifteen years. The Marconi Hotel has limited air-conditioning. In the future consider adding a complete central air-conditioning system using the least intrusive up to date technology. This fund will provide for projects of this type.
