West Long Branch — The
late West Long Branch
resident Dr. George
Brucker, a noted nuclear physicist,
was
honored posthumously
by the
Information Age Science
and History
Learning Center at Camp Evans in Wall Township,
for his work in the defense
of the
United States during the Cold War. The
dedication ceremony was part
of InfoAge's first annual gala,
which held to raise money in order to
develop an interactive learning center focused on information age technologies at historic
Camp Evans. Dr. Brucker and his partner, Dr. Stanley Kronenberg, were among
the first honorees of the InfoAge
"Wall of Honor," where they
joined Dr. Walter S. McAfee,
an
astrophysicist, and Fred
Carl, the
