Restoration of the Marconi Station Power and Electric Lighting Plant is stalled.
The BRAC office ripped out the underground electric supply, the transformer that served the building,
the water line, telephone service and sewer connection.

Without electric we  have a major challenge.
Here is the condition the building was at transfer, not ready for reuse.

Poor drainage allowed water to flow into the door on the left  The BRAC office did none of the most minimal
items called for by the Base Realignment Implementation Manual (BRIM).  It calls for maintaining electric, heat,
sewer service, water service, to provide fire protection.and to control moisture.

The building was completely neglected.

This is a view of the Power and electric lighting plant as published in the August 1914 issue of Wireless Age.

We have removed the boards from most of the windows and painted the exterior windows and doors.
We hope to get to work on this building during the summer of 2007.
