| This is the front of the hotel, nearly hidden by the 1914 shrubs. The building is fireproof with brick exterior, poured reinforced concrete floors and and an angle iron truss supported tile roof. This photo was taken in January of 1999 inside of the security fence. | This fireplace is in the entrance lobby. There is a second fireplace in the old billards room to the left. Up the stairs was the library and writing room. | One example bedroom of the 45+ rooms in the hotel. It has 1914 style moldings and most of the original radiators...and 1914 air-conditioning (windows that open). |
