The Ocean Monmouth Amateur Radio Club, is one of the USA participating stations in this annual event, operating from InfoAge in Wall Township, New Jersey. InfoAge is on the site of the Belmar Marconi station, of the Belmar-New Brunswick pair.
Traditionally, the event is scheduled on the Saturday nearest Marconi's actual birth date. This year, it will take place on April 30th, 2011. Although the event will run for a full 24 hours from 0000 to 2359 UTC, OMARC will be on the air Saturday from 9:00 AM to about 4:00 pm. Internationam Marconi Day operations and will take place on all HF Bands with all modes of communication encouraged.
In addition to OMARC, there will be many high profile official participating groups around the world representing former Marconi operating locations for you all to work to enable the special award to be claimed from the Cornish Radio Amateur Club. The certificate is of a very high quality and is well worth obtaining to display on the wall of any shack. It is based on an original Marconi stock certificate, circa 1901, and is offered each year under a number of different categories.

International Awards
There will be seven categories for awards offered each year.
- Fixed Station: Work 15 of the official participating groups on two way communication. Mixed modes permitted
- Mobile Station: Work 12 of the official participating groups on two way communications. Mixed modes permitted.
- CW Station: Work 15 of the official participating groups on two way communication using CW only.
- Digital Modes: Work 15 of the official participating groups on two way communication using Digital modes only.
- Multi Operator: Clubs/Groups to take part and gain the sward by working 20 of the official participating groups on two way communications. Mixed modes permitted or CW and Digital endorsements.
- Shortwave Listeners: To log two communication made by 15 of the official participating groups
- Shortwave Listeners CW: To log two way communications by 10 of the official participating groups using CW only.
All award claims should be made in writing giving a full extract of your log and your callsign and address. Entries to:
