The Thunderbird District Pinewood Dirby
is held at InfoAge.

AN OUTSTANDING SUCCESS!!

The 2007 Pinewood Dirby was an outstanding success. A multitude of guests, dirby racers and perfect spring weather combined for a very special event.

The scouts were ready, the cars were ready, the new track was set up in the Marconi Hotel Dining room.   Mrs. Andrea Lane, Mr. John Kosinski, and Thunderbird District Executive John Kildruff has made all the arrangements for the big event.

Dads and grandfathers had passed all their closely guarded tricks to build a car with the exact weight and the most minimal air drag.   The moment of truth was here.

The contestants lined up on the Marconi Hotel piazza to enter the dining room to register their car and for the judges to check their entry for correct weight.

A new four lane track was set up with an electronic timer to eliminate human error at the finish line.  The collection of trophies was setup awaiting the determination of the winners and which scout would take one home.

InfoAge was pleased to host the Pinewood Dirby at Camp Evans.

Please enjoy our photo coverage of this happy event through the pictures that follow.
