Memorial. The Camp played important role in WW2 history as the
Signal Corps Radar Laboratory. |

building of the WW2 Signal Corps Radar Laboratory was open to InfoAge

| Historic
Site Dedicated as World War 2 Living Memorial - Students learning
science and history in the very same buildings were key WW2 science and
history were made. This was the heart of the dedication ceremony. State Assemblyman Steve Corodemus personally thanking and presenting each veteran a Camp Evans Service pin as a token of our gratitude for their service. ![]() Mr. Peter Kennedy (l), a WW2 radar developer, WW2 veteran and post war satellite pioneer, is acknowledged by Assemblyman Corodemus and presented a Camp Evans service pin. ![]() An enlarged view of the Camp Evans Service Pin presented to each veteran. ![]() A large croud attends the dedication on steamy hot 97 degree day. The members of First Muster serve as color guards. |

| Looking
Toward the Past and Future. InfoAge volunteers are working to preserve Camp Evans as a memorial to the pioneers of communications and as a Living Memorial to WWII. With gifts from the public and the help of volunteers InfoAge plans to host more memorial and educational events on a more regular basis.. |
