Black History & No Short Climb
In February Infoage will host its first exhibit, highlighting the achievements of black scientists. The exhibit will be created entirely by Infoage volunteers and students from local schools. We are also planning on having speakers and special activities. If you would be interested in helping us research or create the exhibit contact Cori Carl.

Black History Mural

The exhibit will feature a mural depicting black scientists. It will be designed by the Brookdale Community College (BCC) art club and painted by children from Wall Central School and the Aslan Youth Ministries.

       No Short Climb Video

No Short Climb is a video created by Prof. Robert Johnson that tells the amazing story of black scientists working at Camp Evans during the times of Jim Crow. A portion of the video will be available for preview while we raise funds to have it professionally edited.

Black History Video

A short video on black history for children of middle school and high school age will be created by students from Wall High School. The video will be shown as part of our exhibit and will be made available to science and history teachers at local schools.

Displays

Our displays will highlight ten black scientists whose discoveries and inventions changed the world. The displays will be researched and created by Infoage volunteers with help from Wall High School students and the BCC Black Student Union. A preview of the display will be at the Wall Library during January.
