January 25, 2002 the new commanding General of Fort Monmouth, General William
Russ appointed Dr. Constella Hines-Zimmerman to be the Fort Monmouth Science

Dr. Zimmerman has supported and has played a major part in our efforts at Camp Evans for a number of years. Thanks to Dr. Zimmerman we were invited to be a part of Fort Monmouth's Integrated Community Outreach Network (ICON). Through ICON contacts Infoage has made many friends in the educational and military community. In 1999 Dr. Zimmerman invited Infoage to be a part of the ICON Regional Outreach Forum. We set up informational displays, played a part in a discussion panel and made excellent contacts. We at Infoage are very greatful Dr. Zimmerman is our official Science and Technology Liason to Fort Monmouth. We are looking forward to excellent developments as Dr. Zimmerman works toward creating a partnership between Infoage and the National Science Center's Fort Discovery. We are confident that New Jersey schools and families will benefit as the talented persons of Fort Monmouth and those who are a part of Dr. Zimmerman's ICON bring their excellent programs and experience to Infoage Science-History Center at Camp Evans. |
